The Journal of Stem Cell Therapy and Transplantation is committed to providing an open-access platform for the publication of high-quality research in the fields of stem cell therapy and transplantation. In order to ensure the sustainability of the journal and to cover the costs involved in the publication process, we apply an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted articles.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

The APC is charged to authors to cover the costs of editorial services, peer review, article production, and hosting. The charge is applicable once an article is accepted for publication and must be paid before the final publication of the article.

The current APC for the Journal of Stem Cell Therapy and Transplantation is:

• $2,589 USD for all types of articles.

This charge is mandatory for all accepted articles. Authors are required to pay the APC promptly to ensure the timely publication of their article.

Waiver Policy

The Journal of Stem Cell Therapy and Transplantation recognizes that researchers from low- and middle-income countries or those facing financial difficulties may not be able to afford the APC. To ensure equal opportunities for authors worldwide, the journal offers waivers for the APC in specific cases.

Authors who wish to request a waiver must submit relevant supporting documentation, such as evidence of financial hardship or affiliation with an institution from a low-income country. Each waiver request will be considered individually.

Additional Charges

In addition to the standard APC, authors may incur additional charges for optional services. These include:

• Color Figures: No additional fee for publishing figures in color.
• Supplementary Materials: No additional fee for supplementary materials, such as datasets or videos.
• Urgent Processing: There is no extra charge for expedited publishing.

These additional services are optional and will only apply if the author requests them during the submission process. All payments for additional services must be made before the final publication of the article.

Payment Methods

The Journal of Stem Cell Therapy and Transplantation accepts the following payment methods for the APC and any additional charges:

• Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are accepted.
• Bank Transfers: Authors may opt to pay via international bank transfer.
• PayPal: Authors can also use PayPal for secure payments.

All payments must be made in U.S. dollars (USD). Payment instructions will be provided once the manuscript is accepted for publication.

Refund Policy

Once an article is accepted and the APC is paid, no refunds will be issued. However, if the article is withdrawn before the peer-review process begins, authors may be eligible for a partial refund depending on the stage of the process.
